Ghanaian Nurse Earns Excellence Award At Stroger Hospital.

June 16th 2017 Stroger hospital, Chicago Illinois: Mrs.Rosemary Fixon-Williams, a Ghanaian immigrant Registered Professional Nurse at Stroger Hospital of Cook County, Chicago , won the recognition of the hospital administration when she was handed the clinical excellence award .The Award honors the compassionate and skillful care nurses give every day to their patients and families. She was the only African to receive the award this year.The award was presented by Ms. Mary Gibbs,Public Health Supervisor at Oak Forest Hospital, ancillary hospital of the cook county hospitals. Dr.Maryam Sanatic presented Mrs. Rosemary Fixon-Williams to the audience. Six (6) other staff of the hospital received excellence awards. In a short remark, Mrs. Rosemary Williams thanked the Almighty Lord for His Mercies and Blessings and described his son, Reggie Williams, as her source of inspiration and sunshine!In attendance were family and friends of Mrs. Rosemary Fixon-Williams.They include Dr. Maryam Sanati, Reggie Williams and Melody Tukpeyi.
The event was sponsored by Stroger hospital of Cook County.
The Ghanaian community is honored and proud of her achievement!
