The Regent of Dagbon and Acting President of the Dagbon Traditional Council have expressed sympathy and condolence to the bereaved family of the late Dr. David Abdulai, a Tamale based Philanthropic Medical Doctor.
Kampakuya-Na Andani Yakubu Abdulai said the people of Dagbon are mourning with the family and workers of the Shekinah Clinic in their difficult period of grief.
In a statement released Monday, a day after the passing on of the late philanthropic doctor, the regent said news of the passing on was received with much pain, shock and grief in the Dagbon Kingdom.
The Regent said his death is a great loss to his family, Dagbon, Northern Region and Ghana as a whole.
The late Dr. David Abduali passed on Sunday evening at about 7 p.m. at the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH) where he was receiving medical attention.
Dr. Abdulai who was battling stage-4 thyroid cancer was in May this year reported needing urgent financial assistance to take care of his medical expenses as his condition was fast deteriorating.
On the orders of President John Dramani Mahama last month, he was airlifted to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.
