President Mahama Begins “Accounting to the people tour” Today‏

President John Dramani Mahama has begun an Accounting to the people tour of the ten regions of Ghana.

A statement signed by the Minister of Communications, Edward Omane Boamah says the tour which starts from the Western Region will afford the president the opportunity to once again connect with the people explain policies and elicit feedback without filters.

He will also inaugurate and inspect some ongoing projects. The President will return to Accra on Thursday.

PRESIDENT MAHAMA BEGINS ‘ACCOUNTING TO THE PEOPLE TOUR’ TODAY

President John Dramani Mahama begins the “Accounting to the
people tour” of the ten regions of Ghana.

Immediately after inaugurating the 120-bed district hospital in Dodowa in the Shai Osudoku District in Greater Accra, the President will move to Western Region to commence the working tour.

The Accounting to the people working tour will afford him the opportunity to once again connect with the good people of Ghana, explain policies, elicit feedback without filters, launch the conversion of Polytechnics to Technical Universities initiative, commission projects and also inspect some ongoing projects.

President Mahama will return to Accra on Thursday 7th April, 2016.
