Fire destroys Pastor’s seven bedroom house in Eastern region

A ravaging fire Sunday morning razed down a seven bedroom house at Bunso Junction in the Eastern region.

The landlord Rev. Osafo Kwabena Botwe, Head pastor of Ablaze Mystery Church, Nkawkaw District was preparing for Church when the incident occurred.

The fire, which started at 6:30am gutted the entire rooms consuming properties worth thousands of cedis.

Residents were helpless to control the inferno until personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service at Bunso arrived at the scene to put the fire under control after the entire house and its properties had been consumed.

The pastor and four other tenants in the house have been rendered homeless.

Speaking to Starr FM, Rev. Botwe said, “We were outside when the fire started, all that we saw is the fire spreading wildly to engulf the whole house, even though nobody was hurt we have lost all our properties but we thank God for our lives, there are four tenants who are in this house and nobody was hurt.

Speculations are rife that the fire was caused by an electrical fault which is yet to be established by Fire Service personnel who have begun investigations into the incident.
