Multiple award-winning Ghanaian highlife artiste Charles Kwadwo Fosu aka Daddy Lumba celebrated his 51st birthday on Saturday, October 3 2015 at the National Theater in Accra. The legend who has thirty albums to his credit in thirty years performed most of his hit songs.
Daddy Lumba who was the last act on the night entertained the crowd who gathered at the National Theater to celebrate his birthday with him with some great old tunes. Each song Daddy Lumba sang at the event was chorused by his fans who were at the auditorium.
For over an hour and half, Daddy Lumba together with his band led by music producer, Roro delivered awesome performances to provide amusement for the crowd. Before Daddy Lumba stepped on stage was Kofi Nti and KK Fosu who came to clear the way for him the “Yentie Obia” hitmaker.
Daddy Lumba on the night also cut his 51st birthday cake. Pastor Ofori Amponsah, Kenpong, Great Ampong, Bisa Kdei, DSP Kofi Sarpong, KK Fosu, Kofi Nti, Tic Tac and other dignitaries joined Daddy Lumba in cutting his birthday cake.
Other artistes on the night who performed were Great Ampong, Bisa Kdei, Tic Tac, DSP Kofi Sarpong, Joyce Blessing, Emelia Arthur and many others.
