Emmanuel Asamoah, the younger brother of the late Ghanaian Times reporter has told Starr News that the family is shattered over Samuel Nuamah’s death.
Nuamah lost his life Thursday afternoon after a mini van carrying the presidential press corps was involved in a fatal accident at Shai Osudoku in the Greater Accra region.
Nuamah who has been reporting from the presidency for some years now died on the spot while three other reporters including Napoleon Atto Kittoe and Pascaline Adadevoh of GBC remain in critical conditions.
The vehicle was returning to Accra from the Volta region where President Mahama had attended the annual convention of the EP Church.
Speaking to Starr News, Asamoah said family members are struggling to come to terms with Nuamah’s demise.
“For now it has not been disclosed to everyone but they are not taking it easy at all,” Asamoah said, adding “we are still circulating the information so maybe by tomorrow the family would meet”.
Nuamah left behind a wife and a daughter who are both based in the United States.
