On the 24th of October, 2014, Christopher Amponsah, finally became a liberated man after spending seven years in prisons. Live on UTV’s morning show, Adekye Nsroma, Chris, couldn’t roll back his tears when he opened up about life behind bars.
He was emotionally moved to tears when he narrated the ordeal condemned inmates go through after receiving their sentence. According to him, some unfortunate inmates housed in the condemned cells were sometimes made to sleep with dead bodies which were awaiting burial.
Aside this, he also stated that the prison warders reffered to inmates as “fowls” instead of calling them humans.
