Chicago, September 27 2014: The Traditional gathering in honor of the Late Torgbui James Klu Hadzide , father of Reuben Hadzide, was massively attended by members of the Ghanaian Community in Chicago. Over 300 people showed up at various times throughout the day to support and honor the Hadzide family. There was a church service that was led by The Church of the Ghanaian Community of Chicago (GCC). Pastors present includes, Rev. Kwasi Amponsa-Yeboah,Rev. Nana Owusu Bempah, Rev. Alfred Addy and Resident Pastor Emmanuel Amonoo; all Pastors of the GCC.. Rev. Amonoo gave the words of exaltation. Other Pastors present were Pastor Seth Dolley, Rev. Emmanuel Betson, Rev. Grace Frimpong and Rev. Dzifanu Agbenya of the Church of the Living God!
The Ghanaian chieftaincy council headed by Alhajie Issa Samori was in full attendance as the Chiefs and Queen Mothers turned-out in their numbers to support the Hadzide Family.In brief remarks, the spokesperson for the Chieftaincy Council, Bosuapanyin John Kofi, told the gathering that the large presence of Chiefs and Queen Mothers at the function was due to Mr. Reuben Hadzide’s contributions to the Ghanaian community. Bosuapanyin John Kofi urged all to see this as a motivation to contribute their quota to the community. The Hadzide, Kloku and Gligah families home and abroad express their sincerest thanks to the Ghanaian community for their generous support in this difficult time.
